Music plays an important part in our worship.

Singing at Communion services is led by our robed four part choir, including hymns, introits and anthems. The choir repertoire spans music from across the centuries. We are also usually able to offer a choir to sing at weddings or funerals as long as we have sufficient advance warning.

 

We also have our Yalding Church Youth Choir, who sing at several services throughout the year.

Both choirs are always looking for new members, and no previous experience is required, just an enjoyment of music and singing. For more details speak to any member of the choir or contact:

The organ is a fine two manual Peter Conacher & Co (The Old Firm) instrument dating from 1909 and underwent a full clean and some repairs in May 2022. See photos below.

 

For our All Age and Family Communion services on the 4th and 5th Sundays of the month, our small Worship Band come together to lead the music. If you play an instrument (Grade 4+) you would be more than welcome to join us. Contact Daniel Sharman on organist@yaldingchurches.co.uk
